Vaccinations for Infants
Vaccinations for children up to the age of 90 months are listed in the handbook Himawarikko Techo, which is sent to parents by the child’s 2nd month. This handbook contains pre-examination forms for each vaccination.
☆ The following vaccinations are free of charge for registered Tokushima residents who fall into one of the appropriate age groups on the day of vaccination.

*The vaccination period for “MR” vaccine has been extended until March 31, 2027 for the following individuals:
・Those born between April 2, 2022 and April 1, 2023 who have not received the first dose
・Those born between April 2,2018 and April 1, 2019 who have not received the second dose
Vaccinations for Older Children
Tokushima City sends the pre-examination forms for vaccinations to children when they reach the appropriate age for the vaccinations as indicated below:

Girls who have not yet received HPV, born between Apr. 2, 1997 and Apr. 1, 2009 and have received at least one dose between April 1, 2022 to March 31, 2025. | If eligible, no additional notification needed. |
